CeraVe’s Renewing SA Cleanser is a gentle daily cleanser that exfoliates and refines skin texture while caring for the barrier. A gentle salicylic acid cleanser can help exfoliate and smooth your skin while effectively removing oil and dirt, sweeping away dead cells, and softening rough skin — without leaving skin feeling dry. Enhanced with barrier-restoring ingredients like ceramides, it helps keep moisture in while keeping irritants out.
It does much more than just exfoliate. Suitable for the face and body as well as acne-prone and psoriasis-prone skin, this salicylic acid cleanser softens and helps restore the skin’s natural barrier with three essential ceramides, hydrates with hyaluronic acid, and soothes the skin with niacinamide. The formula is also non-comedogenic, fragrance-free, and enriched with vitamin D for extra antioxidant protection.
The salicylic acid works to renew the skin’s surface. Salicylic acid is a Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) which helps to slough off excess oil, sebum, and dead skin cells from the skin’s surface, revealing softer, smoother, brighter skin, while niacinamide helps calm the skin. Because it’s free from harsh particles, it’s an ideal pick for rough, bumpy, and sensitive skin types, transforming into a gentle foaming gel that cleanses without stripping.

How to Use
Massage onto wet skin, working into a gentle lather, then rinse with lukewarm water. Can be used as a daily exfoliator for normal skin, or once to twice weekly for sensitive skin. Since exfoliation can increase sun sensitivity, follow with SPF in the morning.
